Mafia Party Game
Rules

Mafia Game Rules and Roles

The game is played with a minimum of 6 people. If there are 6-9 members in the game room, the roles of Commissioner, Don Mafia, Mafia, Kamikaze, and others will be randomly assigned by the system. If there are more than 9 members, the roles of Commissioner, Don Mafia, Mafia, Consigliere (Don Mafia's advisor), Kamikaze, Doctor, and others will be automatically assigned by the system.

Once the game starts in the game room, cards are distributed to all members within 1-5 seconds. Only Mafias know each other. There is no need for Mafias to identify each other, as this information is sent to the person who is assigned the Mafia role. The cards are optimized with a matte finish to prevent information from being easily visible on the phone screen. Roles in the game are assigned randomly, and a player may receive the same role up to 5 times or different roles 5 times. When the game starts, the person who created the room can check the game count to confirm that a new game has begun. The game rules are provided below as guidelines. You can adjust the rules to suit your needs. The game's flow is open to changes.

Don Mafia (Boss)
Don Mafia role

- 1 person The most dangerous Mafia member. Each night during the "Mafia Night," he kills the player of his choice. He is the final decision-maker during Mafia Night and respects the Consigliere's suggestions.

Mafia (Underboss)
Mafia role

- 1 person As long as Don Mafia and the Consigliere are alive, the Mafia should not express opinions during the night. The Mafia respects the decisions made by Don Mafia and Consigliere and only observes. However, if the Consigliere dies, the Mafia can assist in Don Mafia's choices. After Don Mafia dies, the Mafia takes his place as the final decision-maker, and the Consigliere automatically becomes his advisor.

Consigliere (Mafia Advisor)
Consigliere Mafia role

- 1 person The Consigliere is Don Mafia's advisor and the second person in command for making decisions after Don Mafia. As long as he remains in the game, he is the second person responsible for decision-making. His main mission is to participate in the Mafia council's manipulations and to identify and take precautions against dangers.

Detective

Dedective role

- 1 person The most valuable citizen. When a citizen is killed, the Detective shoots one of the members he suspects during "Detective Night." The Detective is the most useful civilian and should remain as hidden as possible to avoid being killed during "Mafia Night."

Doctor

doctor role

- 1 person The Doctor can heal members who have been killed in the game. When the Doctor is in the game, the role of the player who was killed is not revealed; only their name is announced. The Doctor then closes his eyes, and the moderator asks if he wants to heal. The Doctor can indicate yes or no with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down gesture. The Doctor has one healing chance.

Silencer
Silincer role

The silencer makes his night target unable to speak or post during the day, usually at the punishment of a godkill. There are some variations. The main purpose of this is to negate someone's vote, making this role of more use to an evil side than to the village. Obviously, silencing a mayor is better than a normal person, as you're negating multiple votes at once. You may also want to consider silencing active people, especially anyone considered "village leader", as it means they at least have to get someone else to post for them. While this may sound like it's never going to work, you may want to silence incompetent players as they sometimes end up not reading, or understanding their "you are silenced" notification, and get themselves godkilled. Almost every big mafia game has had at least one silence-related godkill.

Kamikaze
komikadze role

- 1 person When Kamikaze dies, he can choose to take down any player with him. He is free to choose, but he must try his best to kill a Mafia member because Kamikaze is part of the civilian team.

Citizen
Citizen role

The main mission of the Citizens is to eliminate Mafia members and ensure the victory of the Civilian team. But Citizens must always remember this formula: Trust no one in the Mafia Game except yourself!

Night
Mafia Party Game night

Once the day's discussion and voting end, and after a death occurs, the night begins. When night begins, the Moderator announces which type of night it is. There are 4 types of nights in the Mafia game: a) Mafia, Don Mafia, and Consigliere rise when it's Mafia Night. b) Detective rises when it's Detective Night. c) Mafia Night happens every night. d) Detective Night occurs every second night.

Day

A 5-minute discussion takes place. Players express who they suspect of being Mafia and try to justify their opinions. Mafia members, using various tactics, try to shift suspicion onto other players and ensure that some civilian gets eliminated. Unlike Citizens, Mafia members know each other, so it is easy for them to act together. However, to avoid raising suspicion, they play individually. After the discussion time is up, the Moderator announces: "Voting begins." Each player then names the player they suspect the most. Finally, the player with the most votes, or the most suspected, gets a chance to defend themselves. Everyone else remains silent, and only the suspected players speak. After the discussion ends, the main voting begins. The first vote is not decisive. You can choose to vote or say "PASS" and skip the vote. However, during the main vote, voting is MANDATORY. Regardless of whom you voted for earlier or whether you said "PASS," you must vote for one of the suspects during the main vote. One player temporarily becomes the Moderator (until the first player is eliminated) and asks: "Who wants X (the player's name) to be eliminated?" The Moderator raises their hand. Then the Moderator asks: "Who wants Y (the player's name) to be eliminated?" Those who vote for Y raise their hands. This way, the Moderator asks about each of the most suspected players one by one. The player with the most votes leaves the game PERMANENTLY. The Moderator announces who killed whom to the remaining players. After all the nights have passed, the Moderator narrates the events of the night: "Don Mafia killed this player" (The role of the killed player is announced). The Commissioner shot this player, and then 2 days of discussion and voting begin, followed by night. The game continues this way until one of the two sides (MAFIA or Civilian team) has 2 survivors remaining. Note: If the main vote ends in a tie, no one leaves the game.

Mafia Night

During Mafia Night, the Moderator asks everyone to close their eyes, and the Mafia opens their eyes. If all Mafia members are still in the game, Don Mafia makes the choice. The Consigliere can suggest ideas to Don Mafia, but the final decision is made by Don Mafia. As long as Don Mafia is in the game, the Mafia underboss cannot suggest ideas. If Don Mafia is not in the game, the Mafia underboss makes the choice, and the Consigliere can still offer suggestions, but the final decision is made by the Mafia. The Mafia shoots to kill Civilian and Neutral members. If the Doctor is in the game, the Moderator asks everyone to close their eyes, the Doctor opens their eyes, and they can heal or save their chance for another time.

Detective Night

Detective Night usually occurs after a civilian is killed. The Moderator asks everyone to close their eyes, and the Detective is asked who they want to kill. The Detective points to a player. The Detective's shot kills Civilian and Neutral members. If the Doctor is in the game, the Moderator asks everyone to close their eyes, the Doctor opens their eyes, and they can heal or save their chance for another time. The Moderator announces: "The person you shot is X." If the Doctor is not in the game, the role of the killed player is announced. If the Doctor is in the game, the situation is announced after Doctor's Night.

Conditions and Notes:

If there are 4 players left and 2 of them are Mafia, the Mafia automatically wins because the vote will result in a tie, meaning no one will leave the game. It is clear that during the following Mafia Night, Don Mafia will kill one of the citizens. If there are 4 players left, Detective Night will no longer be held. If there are 3 players left, Mafia Night will no longer be held. NO ONE CAN SWEAR DURING THE GAME. Killed players must watch the entire game silently from the sidelines. THE DEAD DO NOT SPEAK!
